I'm Michael Gendelman, founder of Alpha MF. Over the past 20 years I've built and led engineering teams in companies handling millions of users and billions in transactions.

As CTO of Sidelines Group, I built a 35-person R&D department from scratch and led the company to a half-billion-dollar valuation. The technology we developed was adopted by global players like DraftKings and BetMGM. Before that, as CTO of Codex, I built an ATS system with 100,000 users and a billing engine processing ~$100K/month. As co-founder of Vmark, we shipped engineering for clients like Bank HaBinleumi, AIG, and Lexus.

What is business automation?
Business automation connects the systems you already use — CRM, email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, invoicing — so repetitive tasks happen on their own, without manual intervention. The result: less manual work, fewer errors, and more time for strategic work.
How long does it take to implement automation?
Simple automation (connecting two systems): 1–2 days. A complete business process (leads → CRM → marketing → close): 2–4 weeks. Complex projects with AI and deep integrations: 1–3 months.
Is automation only for large companies?
Small and medium businesses actually benefit most. They don't have entire departments doing manual work, and every freed hour goes directly into growth. Tools like Make, Zapier, and n8n make this economical even at small scale — tool costs are often under $50/month.
Which automation tool do you use — Make, Zapier, or n8n?
Depends on the case. Zapier is great for simple flows with many ready-made integrations. Make offers more depth and flexibility at a lower price. n8n is the most flexible (and can be self-hosted, no subscription) — ideal when you need full control and predictable costs. We pick the right tool based on budget, complexity, and data sensitivity.
What's the difference between business AI and ChatGPT?
Business AI isn't just opening ChatGPT and asking questions. These are agents connected to your systems, getting context from your internal data (customers, products, SOPs), and acting autonomously — answering customers, summarizing meetings, classifying leads, and executing in your systems. The underlying model can be OpenAI or Claude, but the customization is what matters.
How much does an automation project cost?
A focused automation (single process): $800–$2,500. A comprehensive project with multiple processes, AI, and deep integrations: $4,000–$15,000. We present projected ROI before starting — if it doesn't pay back within 6 months, we don't build it.
Is my data safe?
Every project is built with full separation — your data stays in your systems (CRM, S3, Google Workspace, etc.), and we only connect them. For sensitive projects we recommend self-hosted n8n or running on your AWS, so no external vendor sees your data.
Will you maintain the automation after it goes live?
Yes. Monthly maintenance packages include monitoring, bug fixes, and ongoing improvements. But everything we build is documented so you or your IT person can continue independently — we don't create lock-in.
